Sailing on Stella Blue

In March of 2015 I bought the 30' Pearson 303 sailing vessel Stella Blue. Since then many changes have been made, especially in the first month or so getting her ready for what turned out to be a month cruise down the west coast of Florida to Key West and back. The original intention was to visit Cuba if all worked out. Weather prevented the excursion to Cuba and the time closed in on me, so I sailed back basically the same way I went. These are a few pictures from that adventure.

I still own Stella Blue and sail her at least weekly weather permitting, and, God willing, I'd like to make a few more cruises in her. Who knows, maybe Cuba and beyond.

Update: I did go to Cuba and the Bahamas in Stella, and made an extended trip each year for six years (including the two mentioned). She served me well and was continually upgraded up the to time I sold her in 2021. I now own a 2006 Beneteau 423, a 43' sailboat that we have already taken to the Bahamas once. God willing, I look forward to more trips in her. Here's a picture of her on her way home from Brunswick, GA, where she was when I bought her:
